June 2009 'Pilot of the Month' Award

With all of the big news recently being announced, we cannot let this special award be overshadowed.  Each month, the staff and management of MetroAir collectively agree on one pilot who has stood out in their minds.  The hub managers, having the closest relationship between all active pilots, discuss and then the rest of the staff is free to chime in.  Occasionally, there are multiple names that get thrown around and the staff goes from there.  But this month, and with the last few previous months, the decision came quite quickly as to who the staff felt deserved the honor of being named Pilot of the Month.

June’s award goes to a pilot who has achieved the rank of ATP Captain, the highest rank available at Metro, and has 774.8 hours to his Metro account.  But more importantly, this pilot has always been a positive influence on the forums, especially as of late.  Not to mention, his screenshots posted recently have been simple, yet stellar and have showed off the Metro livery nicely.  This month, the staff and management of MetroAir would like to acknowledge the outstanding contributions of ATP Captain Josh Locorriere.  Josh was rehired earlier this year and has flown quite a bit with us since then.  He is always helpful and kind in the forums and it is a pleasure to have him at Metro.

Please join me in congratulating Josh on this fantastic achievement!

Congratulations Josh!  You definitely earned it!

Keep an eye out for your awards.
