November 24, 2010 KANSAS CITY, MO – Today MetroAir Virtual Airlines made another in a series of announcements regarding new routes and service over the next few months. After several months of talks with the FAA and its counterpart the National Civil Aviation Administration (ANAC) of Argentina, the airline was cleared to begin international service to the country.
According to a MetroAir spokesman, service will commence at the beginning of December utilizing one of the airlines new Airbus A330 aircraft. Details on flight numbers and frequency are to be announced later. Metro also announced that they will be adding additional flights to Paris, France from its focus city in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
On the domestic side Metro also announced that it would begin flying routes from Fort Lauderdale and Kansas City to Dallas/Fort Worth Airport in Texas. Routes from Kansas City were also going to be expanding with upcoming seasonal charters and scheduled service to San Deigo.
