Route Expansion for Summer 2011

Kansas City, MO – Earlier today Kansas City based Metro Air Virtual Airlines announced a massive route expansion across its network, just in time for Summer 2011. The expansion includes 110 new Scheduled services to New Cities and existing destinations. The Airline has expanded rapidly during 2011 with the addition of more than 90 Aircraft from the Small E170 to the large B777, which is due to be delivered later this year. The Airlines routes have now grown to a staggering 884 schedules spanning across the globe. The latest 110 schedules are just the beginning of more to come, with around 25 aircraft still to be delivered and with talk of more orders who knows where the airline will be in 2012.

The airlines CEO, Matthew Calsada, had this to say about the new routes; “Our continued fleet acquisitions are really showing their impact on our route network. Have you seen our Route Map lately? We’re increasing the number of direct service points through out our developing network all while trying to add new destinations. We’re confident our customers will be pleased with all of the recent changes.”

The Airlines Director of Scheduled Operations, William Hogarth, unveiled the full list of new services today at a press conference in Kansas City, he had this to say about them. “We are more than delighted to unveil these new services, many of them have been long overdue. With all the new Aircraft we have we thought it was about time we filled those gaps. We’re very excited to add Honduras to our network as the South American market is something we only have our ‘toe’ in so to add another service is excellent progress and a step in the right direction. I hope that our customers will enjoy these new routes.”
