Tel Aviv Bound

BALTIMORE, ,MD – It was announced today that MetroAir is beginning daily service for their east coast hub, Baltimore, to Israel’s Tel Aviv. The new service will begin on Monday, April 14th using one of MetroAir’s newly delivered A330-200s and is scheduled to depart Baltimore evening for a morning arrival into Tel Aviv.

The new service comes among a number of new transatlantic routes that have begun in recent weeks during a time of international expansion for the airline. With the arrival of 4 new A330-200s in recent weeks and upcoming delivery of 4 Boeing 777-300ERs in April, the airline is expected to start service to a number of overseas destinations.


Tel Aviv is a vibrant and ever growing city located on the coast of Isreal. Over the last few years, Tel Aviv has seen an increase in commercial traffic and has been marked as one of the fastest growing markets for travel from the United States. In 2013, nearly 2 million people traveled between New York and tel Aviv. The east coast of America has for a long time had a large Jewish community and this new route will give that Jewish community and other business and tourist travellers even more travel options.
