Urgent NOTAM Regarding Dubai & Moscow Flight Operations

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Upon recommendation from the Federal Aviation Administration, MetroAir Virtual will no longer be operating flights through certain areas of Ukraine and the Middle East. In light of the recent events relating to Malaysian Airlines Flight 17 and localized armed conflicts which pose a threat to civilian airliners flying overhead, MetroAir flights will no longer utilize Dnepropetrovsk (URRV), Simferopol (UKFV), and Damscus (OSDI) Flight Information Regions, effective immediately. All MetroAir flights in this region must take note of this restriction and avoid the stated FIRs until further notice.

MetroAir Flights 109/110 to Dubai, UAE and Flights 85/86 to Moscow, Russia will operate normally with the restrictions in mind.
