LOS ANGELES, CA – A MetroAir Virtual Airlines Airbus A330-200 lifted off from LAX on Sunday afternoon on its way to Paris. MetroAir’s new daily service between Los Angeles and the City of Light is their second connection between Southern California and Europe, and the only U.S. airline on the route.
The new link between California and Paris had passengers excited at LAX’s Tom Bradley International Terminal. There was a taste of French culture at the gate to send off the flight.
France is one of the California’s largest European tourist destinations, as well as being the home of many international companies. This new non-stop flight is expected to attract even more business between the two markets, as well as give travelers another reason to visit France and vice versa.
Furthermore, MetroAir’s international division continues to expand as they begin to receive eight new Airbus A330-300 aircraft. MetroAir also recently announced an order for the 787-8, due to arrive next year.
