KANSAS CITY, MO – More news about MetroAir’s newest aircraft is coming to the surface with just 6 months until their first delivery is expected.
“The first revenue flight for the new Boeing 787 will be direct service between Los Angeles and Manchester, England,” spoke COO William Hogarth.
Other rumored destinations are Ho Chi Minh, Kuala Lumpur, and Mumbai, however the airline would not confirm this information. All three rumored destinations would be new cities to the MetroAir route network.
“The technology of the 787 allows us to fly farther and thinner routes than ever before,” explained Fleet Director Daniel Lane, “This amazing aircraft helps us offer passengers a more comfortable and direct travel experience.”
Along with the first route, MetroAir also released the planned seating capacity that is expected to be introduced. The new B787 will host 214 seats including around 35 Prime lie flat seats.
