KANSAS CITY, MO – MetroAir has published its May schedule changes today, which show the large shift of flights from Baltimore to Boston following the announcement of their exit from their D.C. area hub. Interesting additions include the return of flights to Washington-Dulles, as well Chicago-Midway service, both operated by a 757-200 to Boston Logan.
MetroAir also looks to spread its wings in the United Kingdom, adding nonstop fights to Belfast and Leeds from Boston.
Frequencies on many flights were increased as the busy season rapidly approaches. The Los Angeles Q200 fleet domicile has also been closed, with all airframes being repositioned to Kansas City in efforts to consolidate the fleetand reduce overhead costs. Additional E145s will be reactivated to takeover Los Angeles Q200 flying.
