We're Hiring Staff!

After many years of service to MetroAir, Anders Young the airlines Chief Of Media has decided to step away from the airline to focus on his new real world piloting career. After starting his new job some months ago Anders has found it increasingly difficult to commit his time to the airlines media department. Anders has served MetroAir for many years as a Pilot and in various staff positions and we are very grateful for his exemplary service and wish him the very best for his future.

With Anders departure from the executive team we are officially opening the application process for those interested in applying to be a MetroAir's new Director of Media & Marketing. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a number of promotional Blog, Forum & Social media posts to showcase the airlines new projects. The successful candidate must also be able to create picture ad's to accompany the various posts they will be creating. They should also have a good knowledge of Microsoft office and its features.

Being a member of staff at MetroAir requires time, commitment and dedication to our hobby (not to mention a passion for MetroAir!). MetroAir staff members are expected to establish a good rapport with the pilot base and also contribute to management discussions.


  • One (1) month or more in active flight time with MetroAir

  • One (1) month or more in active forum use at MetroAir

  • Able to send and receive emails pertaining to MetroAir business at least once every 24 hours.

  • Ability to work well in a team

  • Must have excellent people and communication skills

  • Ability to participate in staff meetings on Teamspeak. [General staff
    meetings are held monthly (3rd Wednesday of every month).]

  • A minimum of 8 hours per week to dedicate to roles and responsibilities at MetroAir (Will vary from week to week) This includes spending time in TeamSpeak/Discord and interacting with management and pilots.

  • Have good writing skills and a basic understanding of writing PR & Adverts.

  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel

  • Good knowledge of Photoshop (or similar) to create picture ads

  • Drive to see MetroAir grow and prosper
