Kansas City, MO - For the month of September, pilots across our entire system will have the opportunity to take part in our second Hub Competition of the year.
This quarter, our focus will be on regional aircraft, counting flights from each hub made with our Embraer regional jets and Bombardier turboprops. This is a great chance for all of our pilots to get back to basics and discover a number of smaller destinations served from Dallas, Baltimore, Portland, Boston, and Los Angeles.
Represent your hub while flying to places Pasco and Redding, in the Pacific Northwest, or Key West and Corpus Christi, in the South. This month is all about expanding your airport repertoire and exploring some infrequently seen parts of this incredible country.
For each leg a pilot flies in the Bombardier Dash 8 Q200 or Q400, or the Embraer 145 or 170 regional jet, they will earn one point towards their hub. At the end of the month, the hub with the highest score wins.
The victorious hub will win bragging rights, and each pilot will receive 200 Metro Miles, enough for a special repaint download.
Time to get out there, and discover some of the smaller airports that make up our route network!
