MetroAir launches increased service from Portland, other Spring 2020 changes

Effective in March, MetroAir has added new service from its focus city in Portland, OR (PDX) to a variety of new leisure and business markets, as well as increasing connectivity throughout the Midwest and East Coast with new service from Boston, Chicago, Baltimore, and Dallas.

New domestic routes from Portland include Santa Rosa/Sonoma County, CA, Burbank, Missoula, and Seattle's Paine Field, while new international leisure service will start to Puerto Vallarta and San Jose del Cabo, MX. Boston sees the addition of Embraer Regional Jet service to a new station, St. Johns, Newfoundland. Additional frequencies to Vancouver, BC, Denver, CO, and Anchorage, AK will increase connectivity with our strategic codeshare partner FlyUK's North American franchise, Aurora.

Service to Varaderos, Cuba from Fort Lauderdale will conclude, and services to Newark, NJ, Ontario, CA, Palm Beach, FL, and Asheville, NC will be reduced as well.
