On Saturday, April 25th, MetroAir and Fly UK will be hosting a joint event on the Fly UK FSD server beginning at 10:30 AM Eastern Time (14:30Z), starting in Metro's Boston hub, and ending in Fly UK's base, London-Heathrow Airport.
For those who are unable to complete the full KBOS-EGLL flight, departures will also leave from CYYT for EGLL for a shorter flight.
For Metro pilots, this event will be category free and rank restriction free, so our pilots may operate any aircraft suitable for this route, including the business class A319, Boeing 757-200, Airbus A330-200, Boeing 787-8 or -9, or the Boeing 777-300ER. Callsigns used will be pilot ID number.
To connect to the Fly UK FSD server for this event please see this document for the instructions for both FSX/P3d & X-plane. It should only take 5-10 minutes to install the files to enable this to work. We recommend you do this before the day of the flight. MetroAir staff will be available to help should you need assistance.
Flights from Boston (KBOS/BOS)
Flights from St John's (CYYT/YYT)
Pilots can fly any of the above flights using our A319, B752, B788, B789, A332 or B777 aircraft. Remember this event is category and aircraft restriction free.
All MetroAir pilots joining the server should join using their unique pilot code, eg MET1234.
